Fuzzy Crumbles: New Memeshift + Disrupter Side Project

Fellow electronic musician David Sarrazin (a.k.a. Disrupter) and myself have been making a lot of live, improvised electronic music using mainly hardware.  It’s always been just us jamming, but now it’s time to break out of that and take our music to the streets (or at least Kadan).

Appropriately, we’ve also come up with a name and description:

Fuzzy Crumbles: Vague Techno with Dubby Complications.  I think that pretty much says it.  We both like dub and techno and it’s nice to have some humor there too.

We’re now going to have our debut (as a duo) at one of San Diego’s premiere live electronic music monthlies, Brokenbeat.

We’re slated to play on October 2nd, 9pm Kadan (map)

Check out our latest mix here (recorded in one take, all improvised).  Our gear list for this set is:

  • Korg MS2000
  • Evolution UC-17 MIDI Controller
  • M-Audio MIDISport 4×4
  • Alesis Multimix 6 FX (rented from Media Arts Center San Diego)
  • MacBook 2 GHz

  • Korg Electribe ER1
