In March, I had the opportunity to go down and play at Kadan’s infamous BrokenBeat nights. It’s always a good time playing and the electronic music talent in San Diego never ceases to amaze me. This time, Breakah, Louis, David and myself all got to play. In the spirit of our improvisatory natures, I actually hopped on the MicroKorg for a while to jam with Louis during his set. David and I also did a very special set together that we had semi-planned out the previous week.
However, halfway through, my laptop actually crashed! I don’t think anyone noticed though as the sounds we had going were pretty glitchy and fucked up anyway. At that point, our set went from 50% percent hardware to 75% hardware.
