Berlin, music
In between school, moving, relationships, paying bills and just LIFE, my poor music has been left alone.
When I make music, I feel that I am able to reconnect with that divine creative process that makes things, builds things, heals things and destroys things.
Rhythms, dancing, beats. These things keep me going.
Recently, I got my drum machine back (Korg Electribe MX – that’s kind of been on a bit of a permanent loan from Louis) and I am happy to have it back. I got to see Ricardo Villalobos last night (finally) and found some new inspiration.
I also upgraded from my crappy in-ear headphones to some more formidable Beyerdynamic DT-990 Pros (!). Still getting used to them and it’s been a blast jamming on the Electribe.
Also in the works, are some new Memeshift tracks – that are sure to blast off a bit with the new headphones and drum machine.
Stay tuned. In the meantime, check out my albums and tracks.
