Today, on recommendation from my good friend Louis, I checked out Ruben's Empanadas in SoHo. AWESOME. I also got to check out all of the great shops and stores along the way as well as get a feel for some of the crowdedness of the city, the differences in 'vibe' from one block to the [...]
The view here in Brooklyn of the city is awesome. It was like 80 degrees out and I fell asleep in loose clothes and sweat to people chattering, the East River lapping at the shore and the sun being fussy with the clouds.
Williamsburg is fun. Lots of hot people to oggle. Art. Fashion. [...]
Hi Network,I've had a krazzzy summer and now find myself living out of a backpack, staying with friends in Boston and getting ready to attend the NAMAC Conference (come say hello!). I'm also in the process of applying to a job in Australia while reconfiguring my We Operate Best Together Project – I'm thinking of [...]

"By the late twentieth century, our time, a mythic time, we are all chimeras, theorized and fabricated hybrids of machine and organism; in short, we are cyborgs. Ths cyborg is our ontology; it gives us our politics. The cyborg is a condensed image of both imagination and material reality, the two joined [...]

I’ve certainly found it true. Are there any stories of this that come readily to mind for you?
Minilogue – Animals
Just found this. Fun video by Minilogue. They’ve made some really great tracks that I like playing with when I DJ. You can read more about them at their website or on their myspace page.
I simply cannot get enough of Brad Neely’s Professor Brothers
Hail Mary – Pomplamoose
Of course I think this song is endearingly cool. But then as you watch it, it’s TOTALLY creative in it’s use of video/audio – each sound you hear in the song is shown, as it’s played, onscreen. The concept is a ‘videosong’ which basically has two rules:
1. What you see [...]
A few months ago, I saw a call for entry for a print publication called the Squealer. The Squealer is a semi annual media arts journal put out by Squeaky Wheel, a grassroots, artist-run non-profit media arts center in Buffalo, New York. The issue’s theme was Codes & Community. As these are two topics I [...]
MUTO a wall-painted animation by BLU from blu on Vimeo.
Well. I don’t have anything really important to say currently. But if you are already here, you may as well watch this cool video.
Genius.
Really.
