Hey thank you Cheryk! It's an honor to see my lineage. You know my dad is
writing a book called Boy With A Torn
Hat?
I designed the site, my dad wrote the book and my great, great, great,
grandfather did the painting of the boy (who is my great, great
grandfather). You can read more here:

thank you for contacting me! Might you be able to send a picture of the
painting? We'd love to see my great, great grandad!

I ran into your blog/bio by accident. I received a wonderful oil print copy of the torn hat by thomas sully which i adore. saw in my internet research an item that thomas sully was your great great+ grandfather. It was a fun coincidence to run across an heir. Finding your comments on art from 1820 and you in commercial art business was a fun aside. I received the picture from a wonderful spry 91 yr old who had the most fun art in her home. My oil print is beautifully framed and still 30-40 yr old as a print. It is an acceptional remake. the original i understand to be in the museum of art in Boston. The young boy stands out so he practically talks to me.
