Hi internet!  In the next 10 3 days, I am trying to raise $1500 (now just $1360 $819 thanks to Ellen, Aleem, Jan, Belinda, Anne, Ben, Tom, Paul, Laura, Mark, Darryl, Liz, Jo’el, Ryan, Mary, Elvia, Taylor, Emily and Kristin to fund an independent travel project through Europe.

It’s called We Operate Best Together.  And it’s a creative project to document and map the stories of creative change makers around the world like you, me and us.

My central question is: how is global social change made where media, technology and creative people meetHow can we best collaborate?  What practices succeed or fail?

I want to learns this, share it AND have fun (and be well supported!) doing it.  Places like SHARE, Social Innovation Camp, and hack labs around the world are the places I have in mind to go to learn, document and share back what I learn.

Want to help me do this?  Here’s how (in order of importance):

  1. Make a pledge to my Kickstarter campaign now.
  2. Email this post to a friend - know some people that should know about this? Send them a link!
  3. Write me back! – Let me know of any cool places worth checking out in England, Holland or Norway!
  4. Tweet about it: (using this link: http://bit.ly/V77BF)
  5. Blog about my project (you can even grab a widget for your blog post)
  6. Share my campaign on Facebook
  7. Join the We Operate Best Together Facebook Fan page

You can even pay-what-you-like for my album of original electronic music to support me.   And of course read the latest about my project here: http://travel.memeshift.com

By the way, if you’re reading this and none of this is makes sense to you, please watch this video.

I’d also like to give the Center For Digital Storytelling a big thanks on providing some seed money for me to go:)  Read more about my work with them on the blog post on my travel blog.
