3 Blogs I Follow Having to Do with Millennials in the Workplace

‘Intergenerationalness’ seems to be a pretty hot topic in the world of online writing/blogging. In light of my own development as a young professional, I wanted to share these websites/blogs that I refer to for knowledge geared towards developing my own capacities as as professional.  The blogs below have a focus on HELPING. They offer great tools and tips for millennials to be successful in the workplace.

This site is an online community network of professional Gen Y bloggers. I know that through my own work in connecting/helping with VISTAs (many in their early/mid 20s), the issues are very pertinent and resonant for me and my peers.  Two of my favorite parts on this website are:

  • Coachology - it’s an area that also houses a directory of coaches that write about and respond to workplace challenges facing Gen Y
  • Pay Day = D-day - this was a post particularly relevant to me.  Do one’s spending habits really have to be so difficult to manage?

Millennial Leaders

This is a blog started up around a book called ‘Millennial Leaders’. Bea Fields – the author, is a mother of three ‘Gen Y’ers’ and works professionally as a Leadership and Team Coaching consultant for “high growth companies, non-profit organizations and medium-sized businesses”.  Two of my favorite posts (it was so hard to choose!) are:
