		<description>hehe i forgot to tell you the best part of all this... you might have known that tom bak's dad was a physicist who passed away 6 or 7 years ago (poor tom). as it turns out he was a researcher in complexity theory and chaotic/complex physical systems. even more so, his ideas and writings have become some of the most oft cited and most influential in the study of complex natural systems in traditional physics, genetics, neuroscience, astrophysics, large-scale networks, etc. interestingly enough, he is cited a whole bunch in the back of the book that i'm reading... crazy small world, huh? look him up: &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Per_Bak" rel="nofollow"&gt;Per Bak&lt;/a&gt;</description>
